Football-NCAAF: 8 teams in Top 25 lost. ACC struggled. FCS did well. GameDay to Ames this week. UCLA jumps to #14 from unranked.

Football-NFL: Season begins Thursday! Fantasy football drafts must be completed by then.

Golf: Cantaly wins big at Tour Championship and FedEx Cup. Ryder Cup Captains picks tomorrow. EU wins Solheim Cup.

Olympic Sports: Paralympics have closed. Final medal count. NHL players can play in 2022 Beijing Olympics. Last Diamond League meet this week.

Soccer: Ronaldo to ManU debut on Saturday.

Tennis: US Open Quarterfinals set! Djokovic in still.

If you are in a league but don’t know anything, this is the post for you. Here are some basic guidelines for choosing a team as the next 2 weeks are prime draft days. Keep in mind you take my advice with a grain of salt. I have never won a standard fantasy league but I also have not lost. These are the basic steps, rules and tips for those of you who want to be involved in your office pool but don’t want to be laughed at or face the punishment of losing!

Alright, admittedly this is a repost but I still get so many questions about Fantasy football especially around this time of the year that I figured I would report this! I will also be doing this explanation by podcast this time.

Football: College Football is back this weekend for week 0. Preseason rankings out. NFL begins Sept 9 but preseason is here. Some schools require vaccines or neg test to attend games. Covid forfeit policies. McCarron out for season.

Golf: FedEx Cup Playoffs are here but Northern Trust delayed due to Henri.

Olympic Sports: Paralympics begin tomorrow. Prefontaine Classic: Sha Carri vs JAMs. Mu dominated. Lyle is back. AVP set record by Claes/Sponcil. Final Tokyo Medal count.

Soccer: Ronaldo benched til 60.
