Basketball-NBA:
- This week’s games:
- Monday was a day of upsets. The Jazz upset the Cavaliers at home winning by 11 for their 14th win of the season. The Pacers got their 9th win of the season despite having 2Qs scoring 19. They still managed to beat the Celtics. The Kings got their 10th with a 12 point win over the Lakers. That was even with Luka Doncic scoring 42.
- The Thunder finally managed to solve their Spurs problem on Tuesday, beating SA 119-98. The Hawks scored 30 points in 3 of the 4Qs but it wasn’t enough to beat the Lakers who put up 141 points.
- On Wed, Jazz player Sensabaugh put up 43 points and they would still lose by 2 to the Bulls. The Kings would win their 2nd game of the week and this time over the Knicks. Taking down over .500 teams left and right this week! The Knicks would lose again the next day too but this time against the Warriors.
- The Pacers won again this week over the Pelicans on Friday 127-119. They were the last team to t10 wins as the pelicans got theirs earlier this week. James Harden scored 31 points in the Clippers come back on the Raptors in OT.

-
- The Thunder lost their 8th game of the season on Sat to the Heat. It was in come back fashion as well. The Heat would score +7 points to win by 2. Anthony Edwards was the highest scorer of the week with 55 points and the TWolves would still lose! The Spurs beat them 126-123.
- Kevin Durant passed Dirk Nowitzki as 6th on the all-time scoring list with his 18 points scored in the 9-point win against the Pelicans on Sunday. The Magic won the first game in Berlin beating the Grizzlies 118-111. The Lakers lost again on Thurs to the Hornets who are now 15-26. The Grizzlies would win game 2 but this one was in London 126-109.

Basketball – NCAA:
- Lets start with the ranked matchups. #3UConn and #25 Seton Hall were in a Big East ranked matchup. The Huskies came out firing, taking the lead by 13. But the Pirates would fight back to bring the game close but would fall 5 points short. #16 UVA beat #20 Louisville in both halves. It was still close though with the Cavaliers won winning by 9. Kansas is a blue blood for a reason and they took down undefeated #2 Iowa St on Tuesday. Damage was done in the 1H, outscoring the Cyclones 44-23. Both teams would get 40 in the 2H so the Jayhawks hand Iowa ST their first loss by 21. They would apparently break the seal as Iowa St would also lose to Cinci on Sat as well.

- On Wednesday, another undefeated team would fall. Texas would crush #10 Vandy 80-64. #21 Georgia and Ole Miss went to OT after the Rebels came back to score 52 points in the 2H. But UGA would get the last laugh by 2. #14 UNC did not have a good week, first losing to Stanford 95-90 then losing to Cal 84-78. Apparently the trip to the West coast did not agree with the Tar Heels.
- #10 Vandy would then lose for the 2nd time in the week to the reigning champs #19 Florida. It was a good game though with Vandy leading by 1 going into the locker room but Florida would score 54 to come back to win by 4. #11 BYU would lose their first Big 12 game to #15 Texas Tech on Sat 84-71. #21 Georgia would have a good bounce back game, putting up 45 in both halves to beat #17 Arkansas. Then we had a lot of losses at the bottom of the 25. #23 Utah St got owned by Grand Canyon by 10. Kentucky beat #24 Tennessee after trailing by 17 points during the game. #25 Seton Hall lost again 66-77.
Football – NCAAF:
- Championship game is tonight!

Football – NFL:
- The Texans were the final team to move on last week with a win over the Steelers.
- AFC division games:
- The Bills/Broncos game was great! The Broncos put up 17 points in the 2Q to take the lead 20-10 at half. The Bills would take the lead in the 4Q by 1 and add a FG on top of that for good measure. But the Broncos would score a TD with 55 seconds left to take the lead back by 3. The Bills would manage to get a 50 yard FG to tie it up and take this game to OT. The Broncos would be forced to punt after 4 plays to open the door for the Bills. Buffalo would be driving down the field until WR Cooks tried to catch a ball but bobbled it and McMillian took it away before it hit the ground to get the INT. DEN would get a FG to win and send the Bills packing. The FG would come at a price with QB Bo Nix broke his ankle and is now out for the rest of the postseason. Broncos win first post season game since Super Bowl 50.
- The Texans Pats game should’ve been better. There were 8 turnovers in this game! There were so many turnovers that there were 3 were back to back. The Texans threw an INT and the Pats gave it back 2 plays later to lead to the only HOU TD. Then the Texans threw a pick 6 and then threw another INT. The Pats had a fumble in the 3Q and 5 plays later Houston gave it back. The Pats would win this ugly one 28-16.
- NFC:
- The Seahawks crushed the 49ers who had 3 turnovers. The 49ers only managed 2 FGs in this game and that was it. Seattle wins easily 41-6.
- The Rams/Bears game was tied at half time at 10-10 and then again 17-17 at the end of the game to go to OT. The Rams would punt in their first possession. The Bears were driving down to midfield before throwing an INT. The Rams would get a FG to win and send CHI home.

Quick Highlights:
- MLB: Kyle Tucker has agreed to a $240MM contract for 4 years with the Dodgers.
- NFL: Bills fired their HC McDermott after they didn’t reach the Super Bowl after another good season. His overall record with the team was 105-57. But his record in the postseason was .500. The Steelers have fired Mike Tomlin. John Harbaugh will now be the coach of the Giants.
- Golf: Chris Gotterup has won his 3rd PGA Tour title in 3 years. This one started the season in the best way possible by winning the Sony Open by 2 shots.
- Skiing: Lindsey Vonn finished on the podium again this week in the Super G on Sunday with a 2nd place finish and she is considered the odds on favorite to win the downhill and Super G in Milan-Cortina.
- Luge: Another American poised for Olympic gold is Kallie Humphries Armbruster who solidified the season finale in GER which is her 3rd victory since December.
